Welcome to www.leonardlawmi.com (the “Site”), operated by Leonard Law PLLC (“Leonard Law,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Michigan professional limited liability company. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Site. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

An attorney-client relationship is formed only when both you and Leonard Law sign a written engagement agreement.

3. Confidential Information

Leonard Law treats information submitted by prospective clients with care. If you provide information to Leonard Law in good faith about a matter for which you are considering hiring us, the Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct extend certain confidentiality protections to that information even if no attorney-client relationship is ultimately formed. However, the Site is not a secure communication channel. Information you submit through the Site is transmitted and processed by third-party platforms, including Wix and Google, and no method of internet transmission is completely secure. For that reason, please limit what you share through the Site to your contact information and a general description of your matter, and save sensitive details and documents for your consultation.

4. Consultations and Scheduling

The Site allows you to request a consultation through an online scheduling tool. Booking a consultation is a request only and does not guarantee representation. All consultations are subject to a conflicts of interest check, and Leonard Law reserves the right to decline, cancel, or reschedule any consultation, or to decline any representation, in its sole discretion. A consultation, whether free or paid, does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship.

5. Attorney Advertising and Licensure

The Site may be considered attorney advertising under applicable rules. Taylor Hauck Leonard is licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan, and Leonard Law serves clients in Wayne, Macomb, and Oakland counties. Leonard Law does not seek to represent anyone in any jurisdiction where the Site does not comply with applicable laws and rules of professional conduct. Any results described on the Site depend on the facts of the specific matter, and prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.

12. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wayne County, Michigan, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Severability
